WHAT IS MORPHEUS8?

At ViVash, Mahopac we offer the Morpheus8 by Inmode. It is a deep fractional, radiofrequency procedure that promotes tissue and collagen remodeling. This process will help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, scarring of all types including acne, the appearance of stretch marks, increases skin elasticity (skin tightening), improves skin texture, and reduces skin irregularities.

How many treatments will I need?

For patients treating for skin irregularities, texture, and mild fine lines and wrinkles will need a minimum of three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart. Patients seeking tightening of the skin or addressing acne scarring will require four to six sessions. After the desired results are achieved, maintenance should be done 2-4 times a year.

When will I see my results?

Most patients will begin to see textural improvements after two to three sessions. Final results occur eight to twelve weeks after the last treatment session.

Is there any down time with this procedure?

Most patients experience mild to moderate redness post treatment. This resolves within a few hours after treatment. Some patients experience mild to moderate swelling which can last up 24-72 hours post treatment. In order to reduce downtime, prp topical can be added to the procedure.

What is PRP topical?

PRP topical is the extraction of your own platelets which is then applied topically to the treatment area. The procedure is very quick and painless. A provider will draw your blood. This is then placed in a machine called a centrifuge where your platelets are separated from the rest of your blood cells. We then draw out these platelets in a syringe and apply them. The addition of this prp can reduce your healing time by as much as half. This also has added benefits of stimulating growth of new collagen which will leave the skin looking smoother and fuller. This growth of new collagen also works well for those patients looking to address acne scarring.
