WHAT IS IPL?
IPL also known as intense pulsed light, is a non-invasive, non-ablative therapy, that uses the power of broadband light to minimize the appearance of many skin irregularities. How many treatments will I need?
One to four treatments may be needed depending on the condition being treated.
When will I see my results?
Results can be seen immediately for those treating conditions such as vascular lesions and may take three to four treatments for those treating chronic conditions such as rosacea and melasma.
Is there downtime?
The downtime is minimal. Some patients experience mild to moderate tenderness, redness, and swelling, peeling or crusting may occur. These resolve within a few days post-treatment.
